星期六是我朋友的生日，他們（孿生兄弟）邀我去geylang pub慶生，我想到時肯定會很熱鬧，可能會喝醉。所以衡量輕重之后，決定搭巴士去，坐德士回。那天我去弄了一張easylink card，以備不時之需。
那晚出門前，還打電話去給朋友打聽去geylang該搭什么車，被告知在Bedok interchange 有bus 40 n 26。掌握一切資料后，充滿了信心，出門去了！
從我家去總站得搭短程巴士，上了車第一眼就看到一個大紅箱，沒多加思考，就拿起車資卡往它的表面掃。。。咦！？怎么沒有噼噼的聲響呢？這時候車長向我指了指前方的一個小儀器，我才發覺我搞錯了。那個大機器是買票用的！哈哈！糗大了！馬上往車后看看是否有人注意到我的笨舉。興呀！車上沒什么人，只有一個安娣注視著我，我趕緊往內走以避過她的眼光，她肯定沒見過那么大的山龜吧！嘻嘻！
來到interchange，心中有點不安，很怕會再出狀況，不過我想應該會沒事的。走著走著，看到了40號的站臺，才沒多久，巴士亮燈了，我也跟著其他的搭客上了車，一切順利！嘿嘿！
當巴士駛到Changi和Siglap的交界口，巴士轉進siglap rd，我想糟了！不會搭錯車吧？去geylang不是直走嗎？
還是靜觀其變，反正都在車上了，下車也不懂該換什么車，真的走遠了，頂多下車搭德士咯！
巴士從siglap彎去mountbatten rd,再彎去tanjong katong，這時候我放心了。果然最后來到了geylang。Yeah!
哈哈！想不到搭巴士那么簡單的事，竟然會令我提心吊膽，不知所措，真的始料不及。哈哈！
在路途中，從巴士上望出窗外的街景，也是一件樂事，以后有機會，還會再嘗試坐巴士的滋味，相信一定會有很多新發現！因為得注意路況，平時自己駕車都很少會去注意路旁的一些事物，譬如這條街有什么商店，買些什么，有什么特色。。。等。坐在巴士上，居高臨下，一目了然，收獲必定不少！
唔。。。做人的道理何嘗不是如此，太過專注于自己的生活道路，我們是不是也會忽略掉一些事情呢？這就是所謂的當事者迷，旁觀者清了。當我們得做出一個抉擇時，不妨聽一聽別人的意見，指點，建議，消化后再做出抉擇，這樣犯錯的機率就會減低了。
太過太過于自信的人，往往會覺得別人的相勸為嘮叨，其實別人肯為你提供見解，這乃是福氣也！朋友們！要惜福啊！

(º˅º)Yap, taking the bus is an adventure. You get to see a lot of things you won't be able to see when you drive or take the taxi. Before the boy came, me and the man used to take bus 14, 10 and 196 from here all the way to Clementi. During Christmas, take bus 14 from the bus stop behind Border at Orchard road and sit upstair and enjoy the view. Much better than driving or walking. :D
I would prefer to take the bus when I am not in a hurry. The train is too much of a hassle nowadays. It is too packed and the frequency is far too long. Although taking a bus means reaching your destination at a later time, it is more comfortable. Besides enjoying the scenery along the way, you can also take a short nap. Ever since moving to Bedok, I am so happy to find that there are a number of bus services plying the places I frequent.

yep!i remember b4 i started driving, i oso used public transport, n i dun remember i had made any complaint b4....so taking bus is fun!
